In one of our post we presented the video from the American Television channel NOVA: “What Makes Science True”. This video is really interesting because they are presenting us the challenges of science today:
– the reproducibility crisis
– resons for false positive results in science
– the importance of experiments repetitions
– the scientific process as continuing discussion
So like Science is facing a crisis, the same is happening with Open Data. There are a lot of questions about what are really the benefits of open data. And how open is Open actually?
Aral Balkan made the comparison that “open” in Open Data right now is like “open as a door” instead of “open like an open level field for all players”.
Can Usability be the saviour of Open Data in this crisis? Watch our video and discuss!
